2D1N Trip

I just had a short trip to KL yesterday for 1 day training for Cotton On. There were 2 of us. The Store Manager for Suria and me, from 1Borneo. The rest are from KL. We flew on Tueday night and back to KK last night. I had a pleasant trip, accomodation and transportation were all sponsored. I am very lucky to be given a stay at Park Royal hotel, my room was upgraded to a suite too! Teeheeee.

I woke up as early as 6.30am to get ready and went to breakfast at the hotel by 7.30am as our pick will be at 8.30am. The whole day training was awesome indeed. It was our 1st time to meet the rest of the Store Managers in Malaysia for some of us.

After training, we went straight to the airport. Sobs. Didnt have much time to go shopping. :p

Oh btw, im wearing Mary Dress by Cotton On, pink tube and pink cardi, my own.

Javanese Themed Solemnization. Aunty Min & Uncle Marty

Last night was Aunty Min's Javanese themed solemnization which was held at our home. It was a simple yet beautiful ceremony when all the family flew back to KK to witness the occasions. This was the moment that all of us were waiting for!...Alhamdulillah with only one 'lafaz' my aunty was pronounced the wife to Uncle Marty. I am really glad that Aunty Min wanted me to do her make-up for her big occasion. Aunty's hair was also made by my cousin, Farah.

D.I.Y: Pin-Up Girl Headpiece Inspired.

I love everything bout pin-up girls, the Make-up, hair styles, fashion, EVERYTHING! and I love everything vintage! Last night, out of nowhere I became so creative when I made a head scarf from my old belt! Yes a belt. Years ago I bought a denim with leopard print belt for FREE and I never wear it, ever! Because I'm not daring enough I guess?

Anyhoo, talking bout pin-up girls, I once ever had and still is thinking to do a pin up girl photo shoot one day! Just gotta find the right photographer, MUA & Hairstylist and my Mojo of course. Yes, the head scarf i made was inspired by Pin Up girls.

Since I never wear the belt (on my waist,ever!) I thought why not I play around and made it into a scarf. Well my job was easier last night, I was just literally standing in front of the mirror, tighten the knot and made a lil bow with the excess cloth. Confuse?

Let me show you how! Its super easy! Now if you do not have this kind of belt, you can always make your own. All you need is a piece of cloth and a buckle. Long enough and sufficient to wrap your head and to make a bow.

Step 1. A piece of cloth and a buckle. You must stitch at the end to secure your buckle.

2. Insert the tip of the cloth into the loop.

3. And to the other side of the loop to tighten.

4. Now make a loop, depending on the size of your head. You're almost done.

5. To finish, make a cute little bow to style. Well done girls! :D

My mission was accomplished, when my guy friends thought I look like in the 90s!

One said he thought he saw Anita Sarawak, another one said I look like in a Work Out Videos in the 90s! -___-'' HAHA.

I'm very happy that Michelle and I has the same techniques and colors usage for the Summer look! (except I dont use tan lotion) *pat backs* ^___^. I actually explained how I did my make-up at the post. You can just click the link.

A'Sutra ' Lusso Esclusivo' pret- A- porter Fasion Show

It was one of an exclusive and lavish fashion show that I've ever attended, the ambiance of the ballroom, from runaway, stage, dining table, back stage, sound & lighting, everything were perfect. Also,not forgetting the stylish and gorgeous attendees to the event, of course. A big round of applause to Kak Ashniza Saidun, the woman behind the scene,the designer & Art Director of A'Sutra clothing to design such a beautiful and very-detailed clothing that suitable for every women to every occasion.

By looking at the dresses that designed by Kak Ashniza,you can tell it resembles her deep passion and love towards fashion when each of the design were very extraordinaire, neat and detailed. From tier dresses, beading and blings, lace, chiffon and satin, the collections were absolutely stunning!

I'm very grateful to be invited to the event and witness these uh-ma-zing people & talent, experiences, mingle with beautiful people all around the corner in the ballroom and enjoying the performances by singer Marcell from Indonesia, it was a BIG surprise to most of us, infect I think everyone in the ballroom! emceed by Fakhrul Razi from Brunei and local singer Lokman Aslam of OIAM (Malaysia)! Owh and Bali Dance Performance by Gema Tari . I felt like in Jakarta for a moment too!

I almost couldn't make it to the fashion show as I was working on shift, but at last minute, 2 days before the event, I manage to change my roaster and I RSVP immediately. More chaos, when I have nothing to wear! It was totally a last minute thing! Thank goodness I work in a clothing boutique or retail, I was actually,literally pick and pay the dress one day before the event! As you all know, I'm soooo in love (still) with Coral color, and it is the color in season now, I decided to wear an off shoulder coral dress by Cotton On.

After my shift, i rushed back home, and dolled up for the event, the skinny belt was also a last minute decision whether I should match with my dress, but if I didn't I will look wayyyy too simple. So I thought why not? and I could match it with my strappy heels! So, there you go! ^__^
I did my own make up too, I decided not to have a very heavy make-up because I want to create the sweet innocent and radiant look, so I put on less eye-makeup by just applying few shades of bronze and gold, lined my eyes with pencil eyeliner instead of liquid eye liner and just a voluminizing mascara. As for the cheek and lips, I also use similar shades to my dress which is peachy and soft orange.

and yes, I was late few minutes before the event start!I was Fashionably late? >.<

On last Sunday, I had a beautiful bonding time with my family during the Jimui ceremony (in the morning) and wedding reception (at night) for my cousin, Almy who is now married to Jessica. It was my first experience to be in the part of Jimui ceremony at a Chinese wedding. As a first timer, I find it very exciting and fun. My cousins and I were wearing Cheongsam is because we are as the 'sisters' to Jessica at the Jimui Ceremony. It was also my 1st time wearing a Cheongsam in my whole life, although I'm half Chinese, my family on mom's side never really practice Chinese culture. I dont even know how to speak Chinese. :(

Anyway, after the Jimui ceremony, we went to the Botanical Garden, nearby to Jessica's house for a photoshoot session with the newly wedds.

At night was the Wedding Reception at Klang Executive Club, the theme for the night was lime green but as you can see, I'm not following the theme because I had a last minute drama to find the dress. So I just took anything I saw and look nice on me and grabbed it, to me as long as its green! :P

Crazy bout Coral & Owls.

Hi everyone, I'm back from KL yesterday and reached KK at 2a.m. Yesterday was also, my 1st day joining Cotton On.My training was at 8.30am - 6.30am. The 1st training and 2nd training which is today, was fun and challenging. I'm still in the process of learning and I hope I'll be able to catch up all of my job description. I'm holding a very important role in Cotton On. I hope to have the blessings from Allah S.W.T and everyone in order to help me to improve gradually and perform well in my task.

Anyhoo, this recent trip in KL, I had an out of nowhere crave to shop for make-up! I met my friend, Daya who is a freelance make-up artist (former working with M.A.C) on my trip. We met at The Gardens for a short meet up as she has photo shoots to attend and I was late for appointment with her because of the lame KTM services! Anyway, she's selling her never been use make-ups from her collections with discounted price. I told her that I need a kabuki brush and coral lip color earlier, so she brought along a bag full of selected make-up that i requested for. So here is what I chose and purchased.

And also, while waiting for my aunt to buy her dress in Mid Valley, my mom and I were browsing around the mall and I saw a new kiosk was just opened called Coci - Coci, I get attracted too easily, especially on cute stuffs and pretty packaging. So when I was browsing, I was surprised to see the price was very affordable and valuable. Essence is a new a make-up range from Germany that sells make-up starting price from RM5 on wards. Again, I'm in love with Coral color so, I'm buying Coral Nail color and Red (I always love Red on my toe nails) and a Top Coat. The Taro nail color was a lucky draw gift. Every purchased are entitled for a lucky draw.
Other than that I bought:-
1. Refreshing cleansing wipes
2. 2 Mascaras
3. Eye brow pencil for my mom.

For, 8 items, it was only RM67.90. I'm a happy girl! ^__^

On Friday night, Fareed and I went out to Danau Kota at about 1AM in the morning! So here's what caught my eyes, the OWLS. Always wanting these babies, but always get at a very expensive price. In Danau Kota, I can get these owls at only RM13 for the ring and RM15 for the necklace (both bargain). Fareed was so sweet to offer and paid for it. ^__^...Thanx so much dear!

This is my 1st time to attend and be part of a Chinese Oriental Wedding.

This week, I've been searching high & low for a gorgeous cheongsam & lime green dress for this weekend.

We're gonna have Tea Ceremony & Wedding Reception on Sunday.

The theme for the Dinner is Lime Green, to my horror, I CANT FIND ONE!

In desperate, I have to picked this Dark Green Tube Dress in last minute. No choice.

I can't wait to reunite with all the cousins and looking all GREEN.

Productive Saturday

My Saturday was well spent yesterday.

It was a productive Saturday-day-out with mom and cousins.

My day started as early as 8.30am from attending a wedding, going back to Papar (visit Granny), Tele-Movie Casting for a Germany Production, shopping, watching movie and late night supper at McD, reached home at 12.30am. And today, I just feel like curling under the duvet the wholeeeeeee day!

Those whose working tomorrow, Happy Working! I still have a week to rest, and this weekend, I'm going to KL for 4 days with the whole family to attend a cousin's wedding reception. Can't wait for the reunion!

I mean D.I.Y curls using papers. I know! when I first saw the video tutorial in Youtube,

I find it almost impossible too! Until I did it myself!

See, I'm a big fan of these Youtube Artiste and I'm a loyal follower to Michelle Phan.

I really love curls on my hair, but to maintain, is such a mess!

Plus if i do it permanently in the saloon, I know myself better,

I wont have so much time taking care of my hair!

I want a loafer so badly, but I'm always out of budget when it comes to shopping... :B
I think loafers are cute, comfortable, preppy and on-the-go!

Mom bought me a Bright Orange women loafers at a very good deal! Apparently we got lucky that day when we went to find some syuffs in Wawasan Plaza. However, my cousin and I had a pit stop and completely attracted to the Sales (or shall I say, BIG BARGAIN) at Parkson. Polo items were on Sale from 50%- 70%.!!
